100+

Yesterday was my first day of riding in really hot weather (103˙). Obviously the ride in to work wasn't that bad. But the ride home was killer. I was bright red getting into the shower and still bright after I got out. I felt sluggish and sick to my stomach most of the evening. I'm sure the fact that the house was cookin' like a furnace didn't help. But just a word of warning for everyone riding in the heat this summer.

I decided not to repeat yesterday's afternoon safari experience. And as a side note; this is the first day I've driven to work in two weeks. It's amazing how quickly you can fall into the habit of cycling to work. If you haven't yet (and distance permits) give it a try. You won't be sorry. Unless of course it's too hot :)

Wow! I know what you are talking about in terms of heat. I don't know if I've actually ridden in 100+ weather though.

The pavement alone emits heat, and then add the sun beating down, it can be killer.
