This ride sucked, I ended up walking a fourth of the way because my back tire started rubbing. I didn't find and fix the problem until I was almost home.

What happened? A bent rim?
Chance, Jul 09, 2008
It was weird. I was pulling off from a red light, so I was pedaling hard and I heard something snap and it was immediately difficult to pedal. At first glance I really couldn't see anything visibly wrong so I just started walking. When I got to a parking lot I started to investigate a little more and noticed that my back wheel was loose and every time I put pressure on my pedals it would just slant and start rubbing up against my frame. Somehow when I took off, it loosened the right side nut that holds my back wheel on and that was causing it to lean/tilt to the left. So I just tightened it back up and started riding again. I rode home on it and it was just fine. Weird.

get some of that lock tight stuff for all your bits. keeps everything nice and tight but also keeps em from rusting.
