About Everything I own is probably considered "Old School" by now. I can't help it - the old bike technology just plain works well for me, and I don't have money to spend on new stuff. To me, newer bikes just have more moving parts to break.
I've been riding since I was 6 years old, and I'm now over 40, and trying to commute to work again. Trying to lose weight and beat the high cost of gas. It's tough with two kids, one of whom has cerebral palsy. We spend a lot of time sitting at home helping her, and as a result I've gained weight over the last 10 years.
