Stopped in at Sports Basement on the way back and spent my $10 off coupon on a bike jersey (my first one I've ever owned) and a new Sigg water bottle to replace the one I lost. The bottle is black and orange and matches my bike fabulously! Oh yeah I also got a flat on the way back. After fixing the one hole I got it all the way back on and then realized there was another hole. So I had to fix it twice. Weeeeee!
Sat, 12 Jul 2008 22:02:38 -0400 http://outforaride.com/rides/1272 Rode 10.68 kilometers http://outforaride.com/rides/1271
rode to go check out $teven Ra$pa's Costume Purge. Sadly there wasn't much good there. The able miles is only part of the ride the was another 4 minutes for riding after 16th and Valencia.
Sat, 12 Jul 2008 21:56:47 -0400 http://outforaride.com/rides/1271 Rode 5.78 kilometers http://outforaride.com/rides/1232
Well that ride got me sweating. Still feeling not to gross as I showered this morning but I should look into the new shower membership program here at the campus gym.
Thu, 10 Jul 2008 14:36:14 -0400 http://outforaride.com/rides/1232 Rode 5.90 kilometers http://outforaride.com/rides/1219
Beautiful fast ride tonight. Traffic and lights were with me so I barely had to slow down let alone stop.
Wed, 09 Jul 2008 23:59:41 -0400 http://outforaride.com/rides/1219 Rode 5.78 kilometers http://outforaride.com/rides/1217 Wed, 09 Jul 2008 23:36:20 -0400 http://outforaride.com/rides/1217 Almost done with my personalization http://outforaride.com/text/39/Almost+done+with+my+personalization
When I bought my Jamis I knew that I would want to make some modifications and additions to it. Now I feel I'm almost done and I'm really happy -- even more so than when I first got the bike. Here's a list of what I've done so far:

- Added my SPD is the platform cage - Chopped down my flat handlebars so they're now as wide as most drops - Replaced the useless too skinny Ritchey bar ends with RavX Stubby which are way more comfy and versatile. - Added lights, a bottle cage, and a bike pump - New bike helmet with orange accents that matches my bike - Added a Timbuk2 saddle bag that is orange matching my bike (contains tools, patch kit and micro towel) - Got a new bike lock that can actually mount to my bike

No rack as of yet. Instead, I've decided to just use a backpack when I need it. Monday morning I'll bring all my work shirts prepped for the week, and Friday I'll take them all home. That way for most of the week I'll ride with my back free and clear and sans rack.

Still not sure how I'm gonna set up for touring. I might get an Old Man Mountain rack as they are set up for bikes that don't have braze-ons. Or I might go the BOB trailer route.

I also might just set my old Trek up as my main touring/camping bike. In any case, that can wait for a bit.
Wed, 09 Jul 2008 00:29:58 -0400 http://outforaride.com/text/39/Almost+done+with+my+personalization Joshua Talbot http://outforaride.com/jtalbot

Thu, 04 Oct 2007 19:30:09 -0400 http://outforaride.com/rider155 whittles http://outforaride.com/rider431

Mon, 30 Jun 2008 21:06:04 -0400 http://outforaride.com/rider431 Rode 5.78 kilometers http://outforaride.com/rides/1186 Tue, 08 Jul 2008 22:12:52 -0400 http://outforaride.com/rides/1186 Rode 5.90 kilometers http://outforaride.com/rides/1185 Tue, 08 Jul 2008 22:12:33 -0400 http://outforaride.com/rides/1185
