Almost done with my personalizationWhen I bought my Jamis I knew that I would want to make some modifications and additions to it. Now I feel I'm almost done and I'm really happy -- even more so than when I first got the bike. Here's a list of what I've done so far: - Added my SPD is the platform cage - Chopped down my flat handl… 1 comment | keep reading » |

Fixed creak. Now chain broke.fixed the creak my bike had mostly by removing, cleaning and reattaching my pedals. Had a couple nice bike rides that area routable. Then while on my way home the damned chain snapped! At least the rest of the way was down hill and I was close enough to coast home. Bought a new chain today. SRAM … 0 comments | keep reading » |

Creaky CrankOh yeah my crank developed a creak yesterday and it got worse today. I'll have to try and figure out the source of it. Parktools has a good tutorial on. I'm hoping it's an easy fixe 0 comments | keep reading » |

Critical MassCritical Mass was tonight. Ending up being an excellent ride with a large number of people and a great route! We went all over including a few hills and a couple tunnels. About The Fuel Average is meaningless as I don't own a car. My bike is my main form of transportation and I like -- no love it that way! If I need a car I use ZipCar or rent. Otherwise, it's just me and two peddles and sometimes BART or other transit; however, MUNI I try to avoid.
