As you can see, the 'Burner is currently in several pieces. Once I get some cash together, it'll be bundled up and sent to an expert 'Extra painter.

Man, that is amazing 80s goodness!

Thanks. Unfortunately, it's just an image I found on the web. Mine is currently in a state of disrepair and once it's all better, I'll get a proper photo up.

I used to have a used BMX back when I was a kid and this reminds me of it. It wasn't a raleigh though, but it had all the bar pads and plastic rims.

I've got a few of 'em in the garage, all of them in bits and pieces. This one is my current project.

Yes! I had a GT Performer. Light blue & pink, front & rear wheel pegs and the free spinning handle bars. Man I loved that bike.
Looking forward to seeing the restoration.

*** UPDATE ***
This is now my *actual* Raleigh Extra Burner. As you might be able to tell from the previous comments, I'd previously stuck a random picture from Google Images up.

needs some work dude, are you keeping it as an xtra or are you gonna change it to another mk1 burner?

My plan is to keep it as an Extra Burner. I'm about to send it away to get painted by someone who knows what they're doing (as I would mess up the paint job fairly easily).
